Create a cocktail and win airline ticket to London

Tired of the same old cocktails? Then create a new one and you could win an airline ticket to London.

Richard Branson-owned Virgin Atlantic Airways has announced a unique competition for public to create a new cocktail which would find place in the airline's exclusive on-board bar to be served at 37,000 ft.

The airline has recently deployed its brand new Airbus A330 aircraft on Delhi-London route and to celebrate this it has announced this competition, an airline spokesperson said.

The best recipe would be served to customers flying upper class cabin between Delhi and London.

Before a winner is announced, the cocktails created would be shortlisted and put through a rigorous test by the airline's mixologists, exclusive partner brands and renowned Indian connoisseurs.

The winning cocktail would be served on the exclusive on-board bar in August.

The winner's recipe and his or her name would be printed on the menu card. The winning entrant will win tickets to fly to London along with a companion on the new A330, they said.

Stephen King, General Manager, Virgin Atlantic India, said, "We have always localised our services to suit the Indian appetite.
