The theme of the week on "The Glee Project" (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on Oxygen) was adaptability, and it certainly kept the contestants on their toes. At the start of the week, they weren't able to pick their parts for the Homework assignment. For the rest of the week, they had no time to prepare for anything.
They learned the group number song in the recording studio, and the choreography on the set of the video shoot. This proved a real challenge for several of them. So much, that the producers even mixed things up for the elimination. What is normally three contestants singing for Ryan Murphy turned into six contestants singing duets.
That left plenty of people sweating their fate through much of the night, but in the end it was the end of the road for blind contestant Mario, who's struggled in the past with arrogance and this week with his acting.
But Mario said he'd learned a lot about himself, and hopefully inspired others. "When people watch this competition, I hope that they see a talented, fearless, inspirational young man that happens to be blind," he said on his way out the door.
Keep up with "The Glee Project" every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on Oxygen.
